Resource Recovery Centres
Wanless is committed to environmental sustainability by recovering, recycling and reusing waste resources.
Wanless chooses to invest in the recycling industry by developing Resource Recovery Centres where waste can be collected, sorted and prepared for recycling. Sites across Australia have been earmarked by Wanless for developing Resource Recovery Centres.
What is the role of Resource Recovery Centres?
Resource Recovery Centres are the key to completing the recycling process. They act as the middle-man between you and the recycling centre.
> Waste is collected
> Waste is unloaded at the Resource Recovery Centre
> Like waste items are sorted at the Resource Recovery Centre
> Waste is prepared for recycling at the Resource Recovery Centre
> Waste is transported to a Recycling premises
The Wanless Victorian Resource Recovery Centre was developed and opened in 2008. Other States have centres under development for operation to commence in the foreseeable future.
