Wanless-Sponsored Driver Cody Brewczynski Takes Double Victory at Bathurst

V8 SuperUte  driver Cody Brewczynski, proudly sponsored by Wanless, has claimed a spectacular double-round victory last weekend at Mount Panorama, Bathurst – his second Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series round win of 2025.

After securing pole position in qualifying on Thursday, Brewczynski remained a strong contender all weekend, placing second in Race 1, sixth in Race 2, and claiming back-to-back wins in Races 3 and 4. The results closed the gap on championship leader Adam Marjoram, with the battle now set to go down to the wire at Sandown in November.

Brewczynski, who also secured a round win in Perth earlier this year, described his Bathurst success as a milestone moment.

“I got my first wins at Bathurst this weekend, and to do it on Sunday with the whole team here is really special,” said Brewczynski. “I have my dad, my whole family, my little niece running around – it’s really cool.”

Unlike other rounds, Bathurst gives fans rare pit access. Spectators mingled with teams and drivers, Cody signing shirts and stopping for photos between races – a reminder of why Bathurst holds such a special place in Australian motorsport.

“I can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work this weekend,” said Brewczynski. “We’ve chipped away at it and we had a really fast car, but I feel like we haven’t been able to show our true pace, so it’s awesome to reward everyone with a win. The championship is going to go down to the wire at Sandown and I’m really looking forward to it.”

With the season finale approaching at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 (14–16 November), all eyes are on Brewczynski as he pushes for championship glory in the 2025 Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series.
