The Wanless Group has expanded its Green Star-certified operations across New South Wales and Queensland, reinforcing its long-term commitment to measurable environmental performance and responsible community stewardship.
Following the certification of Wanless Recycling Park in Sydney’s Kemps Creek, both the Wanless Oxley facility in Queensland and Wskips Botany in NSW have now also achieved Green Star accreditation under the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) framework.
Green Star certification recognises facilities that meet rigorous environmental performance benchmarks, particularly in construction and demolition waste management, landfill diversion, operational efficiency and resource recovery.
For Wanless, this milestone represents more than operational achievement.
It reflects a deliberate strategy to embed consistent sustainability standards across the Group’s growing national footprint, ensuring that environmental responsibility is not isolated to individual sites, but integrated into systems, processes and culture.
