E-Waste Recycling Process

1. Collection

Wanless collects e-waste bins from client facilities which are delivered a local e-waste recycling facility.

2. Dismantling

Once delivered to the recycling facility, components are sorted and dismantled.

3. Sorting

They are then placed into categories of core materials and components.

4. Shredding

Those items that can be manually processed are separated; all other items to go through an industrial shredding process.

5. Material Extraction

Materials including plastic, copper, aluminium, tin, gold, steel, iron and glass are extracted for re-use, reducing our reliance on raw materials.
